I wonder why people don't seem to flush public toilets after using them. Could it be that Malaysians don't know how to flush toilets?  Huh

On the contrary...Malaysians visiting public toilets just can't wait to flush the toilets! Consider these two scenerios:

1. The public toilet is soiled, dirty, unflushed when the Person wants to use it. So he/she flushes it and then does his/her business. If it is a short call, the business is over even before the toilet cistern has re-filled sufficiently for the Person to flush his/her waste away. Does he/she wait? No! The Person goes off and what do you have....a dirty, soiled toilet for the next Person to start the cycle again.

2. The public toilet is sparkling clean...but our doubtful Person flushes it anyway, so that he/she is sure that the toilet bowl/urinal is indeed clean! Now you have the same   dirty cycle as in #1 above. So even if the toilet was clean in the first place, our Person has left it in a dirty, soiled state, which the next Person finds in #1 above.

So now you know!  Grin
